Electronic nominations for the BAA’s 2024-2026 Executive Board Officers are being accepted via this online form (which sends an email to the BAA’s official account). Nominations are accepted from Wednesday, August 1, 2024 until Thursday, October 24, 2024. In-person nominations will also occur at the annual meeting on Friday, October 25, 2024, with the ‘floor for nominations’ closing as a whole during that meeting.

Prospective nominees must be a member of the BAA when their nomination is made, but they do not need to be present at the Annual Meeting to accept their nominations. The BAA Executive Director will contact all electronically submitted nominees that are not self-nominated to confirm their interest and learn if they accept or decline the nomination. One person can be nominated for all three offices and accept the nominations for all of them if so desired.

If you nominate yourself using the electronic nomination form, it is assumed that you accept your nomination. If you are nominated at the Annual Meeting, but are not present, a letter of intent to accept the specific nomination must be presented by a proxy at the time of your nomination. A Nominee may be nominated for all three offices and accept nominations for all three offices if they so choose.

All nominees will be announced to the public no later than Sunday, October 27, 2024.
