WCU Wind Ensemble: East meets West

High School bands from opposite side of the Commonwealth will be featured in the Third Annual “East Meets West” Invitational concert. The WCU Wind Ensemble will present Akito Matsuda’s anime classic Crescent Moon Dance during this unique gathering of ensembles.

WCU Wind Conducting Symposium Wind Ensemble
Monday 07/15/2024 through Friday 07/19/2024, anticipated time 1:30pm to 5:30pm each afternoon. The West Chester University Summer Wind Conducting Symposium is designed to provide musicians the opportunity to sharpen conducting skills, strengthen score study techniques, broaden knowledge of wind literature and refine rehearsal strategies. As part of this, there is an ensemble that plays each afternoon that we have been asked to be a part of. We’ll have more information about signing up for seats in the ensemble soon!
