Timeline for the 2024 BAA Officer Election Process:
- Electronic Nominations accepted from August 1st through October 24th at 11:59pm EDT (https://wcupabaa.com/2024-noms/)
- Nominations close on October 25th during the BAA Annual Meeting
- Nominees announced by October 27th
- Electronic Election Ballots will be live from November 1st through November 10th
- Elected Officers announced by November 12th
The BAA membership shall vote upon executive officers as nominated from the general membership. To receive your elections ballot credentials, you must be an official member of the BAA no later than 8:00 a.m. EST on Thursday, October 31, 2024. To officially join the BAA, please visit www.wcupabaa.com, click on Membership, and submit your information.
Voting will occur via electronic ballot. We will be using BallotBin.com, a secure elections platform. The election will be a closed-list election. Individual credentials for accessing the ballot will be sent directly to each member through BallotBin.com, and they will only be valid for that member and their one ballot.
The election will open on Friday, November 1, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. EST and will close on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Information about all candidates will be posted in the 2024-2026 BAA Executive Board section of www.wcupabaa.com.
All election results will be announced no later than Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
