This scholarship is being established in memory of Amy Walp. In addition to honoring Amy’s legacy, your gift will help support future members of the INCOMPARABLE WCU Color Guard.
As of July 2024, there have not been enough funds generated to officially establish this as a stand-alone scholarship, so the well-marked and correctly attributed donations are being kept safe in the Director of Bands Scholarship Fund so to not be used for any other reason by the WCU Foundation. We’re halfway to the minimum threshold of $10,000.00, and when we get close to that point, Dr. Yozviak and other important WCU Color Guard staff and alumni will make the long-term plans for the scholarship and how it is to be granted.
